Overview

Included here are two excellent videos that will undoubtedly help you understand the geologic significance of deserts and our learning objectives 

The first is 2:45 minutes long and is from geology professor Stephen Marshak: Evolution of Deserts.
The second is part of the "2 Minute Geology" video series. Despite the title, the video is 4.5 minutes long, but it does an excellent job describing the cause of many deserts, such as those found in southern California.

Instructions 

Watch both videos. Take notes. Apply what you've learned and what you've learned from the previous exercises to answer the questions.  

You have no time limit and three attempts.
