Welcome
Hello Students!!
My name is Lynda Smith and I will be your instructor for College 100F - Introduction to College. This class was designed to help students become familiar with the college and also to provide clarity and direction in attaining educational and career goals. The core of the course content will be mastering techniques and skills that can be used to succeed in college. Students will learn specific skills to enhance academic success and will develop their own action plans through self-evaluation. Topics that will be covered include attitude and personal commitment, goal setting, problem solving, decision making, time-management, career choice, campus resources, and study methods.
To be successful during this course please review Course Navigation / Instructions ( "Menu" -> "Modules"-> "Welcome to College 100F")
In the Welcome - Class Introductions Discussion ("Menu" -> "Discusions") I provided a little bit of information about myself. I would like to extend the opportunity for all students to introduce themselves as well for three extra credit points. Please provide a profile picture, information on who you are, where you are from, and why you decided to attend college. You have until the end of week two to join in the discussion and receive extra credit.
