For this exercise, you'll apply what you've learned about reading and interpreting topographic maps to interpreting volcanic landforms on topographic maps. 

Instructions 

  1. Save a copy of the Volcanic Landforms lab. You'll record your answers on this copy. 
  2. Read the first page of the lab carefully to remind yourself of information essential for this lab but skip the pre-lab questions.  
  3. Collect each topographic map as instructed under "In-class activities". Answer all questions.
  4. Paste a link to your saved copy of the lab as directed.
  5. Embed images of your work as directed.  

You have two attempts to embed your drawings and no time limit.  

Time Needed 

About 90 minutes to 2 hours.
