For this exercise, you're going to use a super cool program called Visible Geology, which, in my opinion, can really help one visualize and understand geologic structures and how geologic structures influence the geology we see exposed on Earth's surface. 

Instructions

1. Open up Visible Geology and watch the tutorial below to help you learn to use this powerful tool. 
   
2. Follow the directions in the questions and embed screenshots of your final products. You will be graded according to how accurately you've followed directions. 

Time Needed

30-60 minutes.

• Identify geologic structures in photos and illustrations 
• Demonstrate the ability to read a geologic map by interpreting and drawing geologic structures based on geologic map symbols
