This exercise has been modified from GEOS: A Physical Geology Lab Manual for California Community Colleges. Before starting, Be sure you've completed the assigned readings so you have the background information you need to understand and answer the questions. Be sure to strive for comprehension as you complete this exercise. Some questions may come up again in the Module 2 Quiz.  You have 3 attempts and no time limit.

One of the most striking things about the geography of the continents today is how they appear to fit together like puzzle pieces. The reason for this is clear: they once were connected in the past and have since separated, shifting into their current positions. For this activity, you will need to use the browser version of Google Earth.
