SLO 4

SLO 4 will be assessed in person during our lab meeting time. 

Purpose

In this exercise, you will be assessed on your understanding of the course student learning outcome (SLO): Students can explain the rock cycle, differentiate among the three types of rocks, and use texture and composition to identify common rocks and their origins. You may use any resources we have covered in this class; all work should be your own. Any part of an answer copied from another student or the internet will result in a zero score for this assignment. You have two attempts and no time limit. If you submit before the deadline, I can grade your work and provide feedback before the due date, allowing you to improve your answer and resubmit. 

Grading

9 = Good understanding 

6 = Satisfactory understanding 

3 = Emerging understanding
