Meet Your Professor

Professor DeKraker

Hi Class! I am excited to begin a semester with all of you. I have created this page to introduce myself and give you a little peek into my world. As you can see in the image above, I am married with 3 children.  My wife is a nurse at Long Beach Memorial and the kids are in school ranging from college to primary school.  We love to spend time with the five of us snow skiing, water skiing, camping, hiking, eating out, or watching movies.  I grew up in Michigan on a small Lake called Duncan Lake and spent my childhood exploring, fishing, skiing, and boating which lead me to become an Earth Scientist.  Also, I love watching and playing most sports. Soccer is my favorite sport and I still play soccer every week.  I put a few highlight bullets below.  I look forward to getting to know you and learning more about your life.  Cheers!
