Getting started/Syllabus Quiz (Remotely Proctored)

The purpose of this syllabus quiz is to make sure you are familiar with the course and feel comfortable navigating all facets of the course. This quiz is graded.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:

This exam must be taken using Chrome with the Proctorio Extension installed - no other browser will work with the remote proctoring software. 

This test will be proctored using Proctorio software.  The software will record the audio and video from your computer during the course of the exam.  You must take your quiz in a private, quiet place.  Prior to the start of the quiz, you will be asked to show a valid picture ID to the camera, and use the webcam to scan the room.  Periodically, during the course of the quiz, you may be asked to scan the room with the webcam.  This is a closed book/note quiz.  There should not be any materials, books, paper, etc. open or in the work area.  During the course of the quiz, you should not leave the “sight” of the camera, interact or speak with other people, access your phone or tablet, open another browser window or tab, redirect from the quiz, right-click, use the clipboard, print, or use multiple screens.  You will have 60 minutes to complete the quiz.  Be sure to complete your quiz in this time frame and submit the quiz when you are done.

If you experience any technical issues during the test, please contact Proctorio Support.  Click the Shield icon located on the top right of the screen, on the address bar.  Then click the Live Chat button on the menu.

Proctorio's technical support staff will be able to assist you through any technical problems you may have encountered.

For this quiz, you will be allowed not be allowed to any other electronic devices, textbooks, or notes.

No other material may be present on the work surface during the exam.
