This quiz is all about making the connection between main/independent clauses and simple sentences. A main clause IS a simple sentence.  They both contain complete thoughts (meaning they have a subject (noun) doing something (verb).  Don't forget a simple sentence (like all sentences) begins with a capital letter and ends with appropriate punctuation (period, question mark, or exclamation mark).
