Instructions

Determine whether the sentence is simple, compound, complex, or compound-complex. (There will be 3 of each type!)

Simple = 1 main clause
Compound = main clause + (comma + FANBOYS or a semicolon) + main clause
Complex = 1 main clause + 1 or more subordinate clauses
Compound-Complex = main clause + (comma + FANBOYS or a semicolon) + main clause
